Traditions have to start somewhere.

For me, one of my most treasured traditions started in 1999 when my dad and I first attended the boys high school basketball semifinals and finals at the Breslin Center.

We’ve been going every year since, and it sparked my passion for basketball, especially Michigan high school hoops.

Throughout the years, we’ve viewed an impressive slate of stars, including a couple of NBA legends. The Michigan High School Athletic Association always puts on a great event, and I’ll be in attendance until I’m no longer around.
